Bank of Montreal Building, Main and Prior, Vancouver, 1984 (Limited Edition Print)
Regular price
$79.95
The Bank of Montreal building at 906 Main Street, Vancouver has survived many transitions. Built in 1929 in the neo-classical style, of course it began its days as a bank.
When I documented it in 1984, it served as a triage centre for psychiatric patients. In the interim it fell into utter desolation, its once-grand façade defaced by graffiti. Recently, it has been adopted by young entrepreneurs as a home for a hipster café selling coffee, skateboards and designer accessories.
All limited edition prints printed on acid-free 100% rag paper, using pigment inks.
